Insulation of vertical enclosures (walls) has been a common practice in construction of various buildings and structures for a long time. Rockwool has been the most common material for insulation of walls primarily due to high heat and energy saving properties and fire safety.
Different methods are used for insulation of facades depending on the purpose of the building, fire safety requirements and climate conditions. Plaster and ventilated facade systems are the most common. Both system have unique advantages which provide high degree of protection of buildings from freezing and ensure safety.
